Working together with the team at The Body Shop, PECO collected and sorted over 70 pounds of empty product containers, household plastic waste and shoreline plastics. This piece helped divert the equivalent of over 1,300 plastic bags from entering the landfill. It is a welcome visual expression of the commitment The Body Shop is making towards a more sustainable shopping experience. Their concept stores are designed to incorporate as much natural and reused materials as possible, a throwback to the wishes of their founder, Anita Roddick who, herself, was deeply engaged in environmental protection and animal rights.
